Hiconn open a new 6000-square-meter manufacturing plant in DongGuan. The new plant, located in Tangxia town of DongGuan City, will employ about 500 people. A production line for HDMI and AV series products specially, which are used for Video system, will be built at Hiconn,DongGuan plant. The productivity of HDMI cable will be increased to 1million pieces per month if it's running at full capacity. Production is expected to begin in the first week of August.
Since 2000, the 2,000-square-meter plant opened as Shenzhen Hiconn Electronics Co., Ltd., specializing in computer cables and computer peripherals. It employed about 200 workers and was considered one of the quality computer cable production plant in China.
